This May Be Intolerant, But…
I’d like to thank the Academy for the slap in the face
When things I pull for are involved, yeah, I can hold a grudge.
For example, I still have never seen Annie Hall. Part of that is because of a signficant lack of interest in Woody Allen, but honestly, it’s mostly because I’ve never forgiven it for beating out Star Wars for Best Picture in 1978. Oh, I was young then, and maybe I should recognize the artistic endeavors of Mr. Allen more than I do, but then again, which movie wound up marking a generation and which one didn’t?
Given that background, what do you think the odds are of my ever watching Crash now are?
